She has accumulated a series of certifications and memberships to various associations to help prove the strength of her abilities and dedication, and she’s continually working towards more. Along with her love of animals and their well-being, her professionalism and knowledge ensure that you will never have to worry about leaving your pets in her hands.

Heike is certified by the American Red Cross in Pet First Aid. This certification provides the confidence and skills necessary to tend to unexpected emergencies until a veterinarian can be reached. If something were to befall your pet or animal, you can be assured that Heike will take the prompt, necessary actions needed to treat any emergency.

To further extend her skills and experience, Heike works as a volunteer at the ARF (Animal

Rescue Foundation) of Mobile, www.animalrescuemobile.org.

Heike is also a member and insured through the Pet Sitters Associates, which means she follows a code of ethics adopted by an association that was developed by and for pet sitters. Through this, she is also covered in the case of unfortunate events.

In addition, she is also a part of PUPS – Professional United Pet Sitters – an organization that provides information to professional pet sitters to help them run a business of high-standards.

Heike also has successfully completed the requirements for the Alabama REIN Certificate (Regional Equine Information Network) to increase the level of care she provides, her management practices and to continue acquiring professional qualifications with horses.
